Saturday began early with wake up calls and eye openers, and at 7:15am we served continental breakfast packs and boarded the bus. Our trip began uneventfully, but about halfway to Hearst Castle our tour bus was involved in a minor collision with a fuel truck, causing some excitement and a 1.5 hour delay. It allowed all of us to stretch our legs and the smokers could take a long smoke break. A round of complimentary drinks on the bus helped us cope with the stress. Eventually we got to San Simeon and toured Hearst Castle, then it was off to Morro Bay for a late lunch and sunning at the beach. By the time we left, everyone wanted to sleep and relax. Upon our return we had a moonlight pool party at Kevin and Kirk's.
